The Best Natural Remedy…Other Than Water
In the last few months, I have been wondering how much money I would save if I could afford the time to sleep more.
Staying up late is an expensive habit to fuel. Sometimes, you wonder if the extra work you put in gets balanced out in the consequences. (Late nights you put in shows up as extra costs on those supplements you use to support your adrenals and digestive system.)
Sleep: Letting God Work
As I have gotten older, I have noticed that we have a tendency to want to unwind before we go to bed. When we were younger, we would naturally hit the sheets or some adult figure will make us. People do not have always realize the extent of work the brain does when you are asleep.
According to a biology class I had, sleep is very important for the brain to archive information. In addition, the brain has a lot of activity going on when you sleep–more so than when you watch TV. The brain is burning lots of energy without you having to do a thing, which equals burning calories and …you get the idea.
Since I want to catch some Zzzzs soon….I will leave you with the following Scriptural verse without being hypocritical afterwards.
Psalm 127:2-“It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”
