Who will encourage community growth but the leaders of your church?

For that very reason, it is important for leaders of your church to make time for community with each other.

3 Reasons Why Leaders Should Experience Community Together

1. Church leaders should experience community together as to set an example of healthy community for the rest of the church

As I stated above: if community is not important among the leaders of your church, how can you expect the rest of the church to experience community together?

My recommendation is for the leaders of your church to schedule a monthly time just to visit with each other.

2. Church leaders should experience community together to strengthen their decision making process

When leaders spend time intentionally getting to know each other just for that sake alone, decision making is less tense and more unifying.

If church leaders can be united in friendship, they can be united in decisions to make for the church. Or, they will at least be more respectful in their disagreements.

3. Church leaders should experience community together to learn about each other

It is important for all your church leaders to get to know each other.

This cannot be done during the work day because everyone is caught up in their own tasks.

This is why it is important to make a time and a point to get together.

Church leaders should know the people they work with more intimately than the church members themselves.

Doing this will comfort the rest of the church and will display a true sense of unity in their community.
