Theme : How to become like Jesus?

Topic idea : What world problem do you want to solve?

Essay : cause and effect

I have stopped to think about what do people do in their typical day? From my understanding, they eat, study, work, and sleep regardless of their social backgrounds. It seems to me that eating is one of the fundamental needs. I now live in a country where food is available and accessible to everyone. Food services provide many options for their consumers. One can be a meat eater while the other can be a vegetarian.

However, people in many places in another part of the world have no choices. They do not even have food to eat. The scarcity of food in some places is rank one of the world problems. If I am able to solve one of the problems, feeding hungry people would be my first priority. According to The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimates that about 815 million people of the 7.6 billion people in the world, or 10.7%, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2016. The vast majority of those hungry people live in developing countries.

In fact, the world produces more than enough food to feed everyone on this planet. Then what causes the problem? Why the number of hunger people still has grown? In my view, living in poverty is the root cause of hunger problem. In some cases those who live in poverty are simply do not have money to buy food. Even though, there might be food available. what causes poverty then?

Political issue within country is one factor that leads to poverty. The country I can think of right now is Venezuela. It used to be one of the richest economy countries in South America. It is reported that there is food shortage, three in four citizens involuntary weight loss. People are stress out and trying to escape the county.

There are several solutions for world hunger problem. For one thing, leaders, we need leaders who care about their people, sacrifice themselves to the country for the majority. Stop taking advantages of being leaders for own benefits.

To sum up, having proper nutrition is a birthright to all. Even though, the world produces plenty and more than enough food for all human beings. Unfortunately, there are millions of people still live in poverty which leads to malnutrition. This problem can be solved by having a good leader who sacrifices himself for his people.

Jesus is a true leader, he loves, cares, and sacrifices himself to the people. In Mark 6:30-44. Jesus performs the miracle which known as the miracle of the five loaves and two fish.
