My hero is my big Sister. (Final draft)

Growing up in Thailand, I always considered my older sibling my hero.  I have a little brother but considered my older sister Sanghoo to be my big brother.  When we were kids, she was bigger and taller than anyone of the same age kids in my neighborhood. Sanghoo is only one year older than I am, but I always considered her much smarter, stronger, and much more calm and nicethan myself.

She taught me how to do my homework. She protected me from bullies in school and kids in the neighborhood. She comforted me when I was sad about breaking up with my first boyfriend. She ran errands for me when I couldn’t do it. She told mom to not punish me by spanking because it was my fault, she said it was our fault. I always admired how selfless she could be.

I remember one time when we were around 10 to 11years old, we were playing a video game, Nintendo. It was supposed to be my turn since she lost to my cousin, but instead, she said that she would play for my turn and beat my cousin for me. After she kept saying this for many turns and eventually I learned that it would never be my turn. So naturally I cried and screamed, and that was what I always do to try and get what I want when I was a little girl, eventually we ended up in a fistfight. My mom was working at home and she was having a customer, so us screaming and fighting interrupted my Mom from work. My Mom came up to us and asked: “who started this fight?” “Whoever was the one will get spanked!” She Exclaimed. Even though I was the one who screamed and yelled my sister stopped my mom and said that it was two of us, and if I was to get spanked then she deserved to as well. My mom just stopped, told us to keep quiet and went back to work. Even though we were in a fight felt that day that she was my hero and that she loved me.

Currently, Sanghoo is in Thailand and I am in California, we live so far away from each other. Whenever I have a problem, whenever My life is struggling, whenever I am feeling down, she will always help me out and pull me back from being depressed and stressed. I always worry about my parents because I am not there with them, but my family is very lucky that my sister works and lives nearby where my parents live. So, my sister will be there for my parents when they need someone and I have less worry about family while I am gone.

My sister is not just my best friend but she is my hero. She is there for me when I need someone. And I find her to be truly a great person. And one day I hope that if she is ever in need, that I can be a hero to her too.

We fought many times, we were playing combat and I accidentally cut her with a cutter knife but she didn’t mad at me and she still have that scar on her forearm. It was big but it looks smaller when we’re adult now.

She is in Thailand and I am in California, we live so far away. Whenever I have problem, whenever My life struggle, whenever I am feeling down, she will help me out and pull me back from depressed and stressed.

I always worried about my parents because I am not there with them but my family is very lucky that my sister works and lives nearby where my parents live. So,my sister will be there for my parents when they need someone and I have less worry about family while I am gone.

I think having siblings is my luck and it is one of the best things that my parents gave me. My sister and my brother are my best friends, especially my big sister, she is not just my best friend but she is my hero. My sister always there for me. My big sister will be there when I need someone.
