1.What happened when Jesus returned to Capernaum?
– Many people came to Jesus home.
What was Jesus doing in the home?
– Jesus preached the word to them.
2.Who was brought to Jesus? How? Why?
– A paralyzed man was brought to Jesus by opening the roof and set him in front of the Jesus.
Because of the packed of people, they couldn’t pass through so that they open the roof.
3.What did Jesus tell the man? Why?
– Jesus said “Son, your sins are forgiven.” because he saw the faith in the paralyzed man.
4.How did the scribes respond to Jesus? Why?
– They doubt in Jesus because only the God can forgive the human sins.
5.How did Jesus react to the scribes?
– Jesus know what the scribes were thinking then he asked the question “Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.”
6.How did Jesus prove he could forgive sins?
– Jesus said “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” then the paralyzed man got up and walked out.

– They felt amazed when they saw a paralyzed guy got up and walked like normal.

– A large of crowd came to Jesus then Jesus taught them.

– Jesus met Lavi who sitting at the tax collector booth.

– Jesus ask Levi to follow him. Levi got up and followed Jesus.

– Jesus and disciples went to Levi’s house and had dinner with tax collectors and sinners.

– They thought that inappropriate to eat with the sinners and tax collectors.

– Jesus compared the sinners as a sick people and Jesus as a doctor to heal that guys.

– “How is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?”
15.What parables did Jesus tell his enemies?
– The old ritual may suit for some believers but now Jesus would taught the new concept that suits for the guys who faith in God.

– Jesus and disciples were going to the grainfield and picking up some head of grain.

– They accused Jesus and disciples did an unlawful on Sabbath.
18.Who did Jesus tell his enemies to remember? Why?
– Jesus told the story of Abiathar the high priest who came to the heaven and was given bread from God. Jesus wanted to give the example that everything had the exception.

– The rules was created by people and for people, not man for the rules.
