What will you do when you give up for your dream?

Why do people give up on their dreams?
There was once a fox that wanted to eat some delicious cherries. Because the cherries were hanging from a branch that was high above the ground the fox had to keep jumping and jumping in order to reach them.

After lots of tries and a long while the fox gave up on his dreams by claiming that he didn’t want the cherries anyways because they would have tasted bad!!

While this is not a true story it represents exactly the way we human beings react to lost dreams. People don’t just give up on their dreams directly but they twist facts then claim that they didn’t want them anyways!!

How to not give up on your dreams

The worst thing that could ever happen to a person is not failing to reach his dream but its claiming that the dream was never there.

I am not asking you to reach your dreams in the first attempt because that might not be possible but all i am asking you is to never create lies that would make you feel comfortable about giving up your dreams.

You had those dreams because you wanted them so badly and even if you managed to live a lie that prevented you from feeling bad sooner or later you will rediscover the truth and you will feel really bad.

Don’t give up on your dreams, don’t deceive yourself and fight to the end until you reach them.

Giving up your dreams

Do you remember how it felt like when you used to think about your dreams? Do you remember how life was like when you had hope? Do you remember the beautiful meanings that you had in your life? Do you know how would it feel like to revive them again?

Giving up is a choice my friend and so is depression. The current emotions you are experiencing are nothing but the result of the choices and the decisions you made long ago.

Long ago you had lots of chances to make choices but obviously you chose the dark room and now you are getting another chance by reading this article. And who knows, maybe this is your last chance.

Will you deny their existence? Will you bury them even deeper and just ignore the screams of your mind? Will you live in the dark room?

Or will you fight for them until you either achieve them or die proud of yourself?

What do you do when your hope dies? Romans says, “Abraham, when hope was dead within him, went on hoping in faith . . . He relied on the word of God” (Phillips).

When you are at a dead end, you need the Bible. Read it. Study it. Memorize it. Think about it. Write it down on little notecards, and go over it. The Bible is full of promises. You rely on the Word and trust in its promises, and it will revive you emotionally. Nothing else is going to encourage you like the Bible. When you rely on the Word of God, you don’t panic because you’re reminded that even though something is out of your control, it’s not out of God’s control.

A dead end is a test of your faith. The Bible says in Hebrew 11:17 “While God was testing him, Abraham still trusted in God and his promises, and so he offered up his son Isaac” (TLB). God said he wanted Abraham to sacrifice his son, and Abraham didn’t blink an eye. He didn’t panic because he remembered what God could do, and he relied on what God had promised him.

What happens when God takes your most precious dream and wants you to give it up? Can you do that in faith? You’re at a dead end, and God’s going to deliver you if you give the right answer.

You may be at a dead end now, and it seems there is no way out. But things are never as bleak as they seem. You’re looking at it from the human viewpoint rather than God’s viewpoint.

Romans 4:20 says“Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger, and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened” (TLB).

A promise is only as good as the character of the person who makes the promise. The Bible says God cannot lie because he is complete truth. If he makes a promise to you, he’s going to fulfill it. It will happen exactly as he has said. When you’re at your dead end, trust in God’s truth.

How do people give up their dreams
It would hurt their Egos so much to admit that they weren’t able to reach their dreams and that they gave up on them. Because of that people try to create lies that help them get out of trouble safely.

By assuming that they were going in the wrong direction, that they didn’t want that dream so badly or even that it wasn’t the right choice for them people escape from the responsibility and protect their egos.
